Spotlight: QNAP TS-109 Pro

The QNAP TS-109 Pro is a NAS(Network-attached storage) box that caught my eye, With a large list of multiple awards garnered from different reviews of popular magazines and websites (listed below) to back up this hardware's reputation, it's features are what makes this THE NAS box choice for PC enthusiasts and businesses corporations alike.

Now why would one need a NAS box you ask? Well, with today's computers, increased data storage is a must, along with backing up. This and many features of this NAS box are more than reason enough to want to get one.

Features such as the One touch USB auto copy which allows data from mobile storage devices such as thumb drives and digicams to be backed up automatically with a push of a button. Just plug it in the USB port and push the copy button and you're set. Along with Speedy file transfers it would allow you to back up your entire PC in a jiffy.

Another bonus is that you can stream music from this box as it supports iTunes! Not to mention you could use this as a FTP server as well. =) What makes it more appealing is that it Support s BitTorrent/ FTP/ HTTP Download(without PC) in it's download software!

Final Notes:

The TS-109 Pro is a great AWESOME all-in-one box, with it's multiple features and and capabilities, priced at a hefty(though reasonable) price of $329.99(from newegg.com) home users could opt for the cheaper TS-109 at $259.99, Remember that these prices still does NOT include the hard disk. My only complain? It's ability to carry up to *cough*only*cough* 2TB worth of data.
